- Comments: The boat is based on the BOC 50 design rules (open 50) and built with a future as a performance cruiser in mind. Non Solo is a fun and rewarding boat to sail being of moderately light weight with a large rig, fully designed for single/short handed sailing offshore or in coastal waters, with all lines led back to a protected cockpit. She is strongly built with treated triple diagonal Kahikatea planking on stringers and laminated frames. Deck and cockpit is marine ply and the entire boat is fiberglass and epoxy sheathed. The full interior was also multiple epoxy coated prior to finishing. Rig is high quality with a USA blue label alloy mast, searig stainless steel shroud bases and all Lewmar deckgear, 2 speed self tailing winches and rope clutches. The 6 berth interior including 2 seaberths with leeclothes is modern lightweight, but quality including Milano "a grade" leather for all bunk and saloon upholstery, filtered pressurised water (hot/cold) and stainless steel twin sinks etc. A uniquely capable performance yacht with the assurance of 2 watertight (forward and aft), bulkheads and around the world specifications designed built in!
